Arbitrary Research

Arbitrary research is a method of seeking answers using blind exploration,  imagination, opinion, belief or impression. It seeks to articulate partial definitions rather than empirical relationships between distinct things. The beauty of arbitrary findings are that they cannot be generalized or controlled, which make them particularly useful in the discovery phase of creative research.
